BASF illustrations

To celebrate BASF’s 20 years in Portugal, our Cadernos de Campo team produced a commemorative book—an ode to agriculture and to “the greatest work on Earth.”
In partnership with BASF, we curated 22 crops that, for different reasons, speak to the breadth of Portuguese agriculture.

The project combined deep research, the selection of historical, agronomic, and cultural tidbits, editorial writing by Cristina Nobre Soares and Inês Roque, illustration, and layout.
I co-created around 140 illustrations with teammate João Ruano and led the color work across the series.
